Active Shooter at Old National Bank in Downtown Louisville

An active shooting is currently underway at and around the Old National Bank located in the 300 block of East Main Street. According to authorities, this is another “mass casualty incident”, and multiple casualties have already been confirmed.

Officers were heard yelling “Active shooter at the bank” as they told traffic to stop and clear the area. Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear has taken to Twitter to confirm that he is on his way to the scene of the shooting, and has asked the public to pray for the families impacted and for the city of Louisville as a whole.

As details continue to emerge, it is important that all residents of the area stay safe and stay clear of the scene. The situation is still ongoing, and it is not yet clear when it will be resolved.
