False Alarm Confirmed for Reported Active Shooter at Alexandria High School
Reports of an active shooter at Alexandria Monroe High School in Madison County caused panic and a heavy police presence at the scene. However, sources have now confirmed that the incident was a false alarm, and everyone is safe.
Somebody heard gunshots at the school and the school was put on lockdown. The “active shooter” emergency turned out to be a false alarm.
The safety of students, faculty, and staff is a top priority, and we commend the swift action taken by the authorities to ensure their safety.
