Active Shooter Suspect Deion Patterson Still at Large in Atlanta
Deion Patterson, 24, who served in the Coast Guard for five years, was attending a hospital appointment with his mother on Wednesday when he opened fire.
The Atlanta Police Department is currently conducting a manhunt for active shooter suspect Deion Patterson, who is still at large as of 2:46pm. The police have been searching the Vinings, Cumberland, and Truist Park areas for any sign of the suspect. Patterson is believed to have fled the scene after carjacking a vehicle. The police have now updated that they believe Patterson is in the Smyrna/Marietta area.
Due to the ongoing manhunt, there is a heavy police presence throughout the city. The Atlanta Police Department is urging all residents to stay indoors and report any suspicious activity to the authorities immediately.
Police Continue Search in Vinings, Cumberland, Truist Park Areas
