Hampshire School fire: Emergency services respond

Emergency services are currently responding to a school fire near the Hampshire and Newbury border. Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that they were dealing with the blaze at a preparatory school in Newton at 1.48pm on April 27th. The cause of the fire is not yet known, and crews are currently working to extinguish the flames.

Residents in the nearby area have been advised to keep their windows and doors closed due to the smoke from the fire. The blaze has caused significant damage to the school, with reports indicating that the flames are still ongoing.
