Cleveland Police Chief Wayne Drummond confirmed that officers were already present at the scene when the shooting took place. They quickly intervened and provided aid to the victims, who were immediately transported to Metro Health Medical Center for treatment.
The victims, consisting of seven men and two women ranging in age from 23 to 38, sustained injuries of varying degrees. While one man remains in critical condition, the other victims are expected to recover from their non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities are actively searching for the suspect, described as a Black male who may have a gold grill in his mouth.
