Shooting in Northwest Washington, D.C. | 1 Dead

One Person Killed in Northwest D.C. Shooting

One person was shot and killed in a shooting in Northwest D.C. early Saturday, according to the Metropolitan Police Department. Officers from the 4th District responded to calls about a shooting and found the victim, identified as 27-year-old Dzhoy Zuckerman of Northwest, unconscious in the street at around 12:05 a.m. on 300 Quakenbos Street NW.

Police later clarified that Zuckerman was found not breathing and died at the scene. Authorities have not yet released any information about the possible shooter or shooters. The investigation is ongoing.

In response to the shooting, the Metropolitan Police Department is offering a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for this crime.
