Protest in Washington, DC

Thousands of demonstrators have taken to the streets of Washington, DC, for the People’s March, chanting, “We will not go back.” Formerly known as the Women’s March, the movement has rebranded itself to represent broader opposition to Trump’s policies.

A brief confrontation occurred when a Trump supporter wearing a MAGA hat interrupted the march. DC police swiftly intervened, removing the individual to ensure the protest could continue peacefully.
