Tragic Altercation in San Leandro: High-Speed Chase Ends in Shooting Death and Arrests

According to reports, the suspects, believed to be between 18 and 20 years old, were spotted in a stolen vehicle racing along I-580 East. The pursuit came to a crashing halt at the intersection of 163rd Avenue and Liberty Street in San Leandro, creating chaos and drawing the attention of law enforcement, including the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
As the suspects attempted to flee the scene, a physical altercation ensued when a CHP officer intervened. Two of the suspects engaged in a struggle, even attempting to disarm the officer.
